Getting Political Today

     I am going to do something that I do not like doing, get political.  Today is election day here in the United States.  All over this country, people are casting their ballots for the next president, as well as many other positions from local to national.

    This election, more than most others, will have a huge impact on the country for the next few years.  I am not advocating for one candidate over another, my political views are mine.  What does matter is that you get out and vote, every voice matters.

    This year, while homeschooling a tenth grader and covering government, I have found myself following this election closer than I have ever before, have done research on the "Core Beliefs" of the two main parties.  The two main candidates could not be more polarizing, each in their own way.  

    The next few hours, days and weeks, will decide who the president will be in January.  No matter who wins, we need to support them.  "Your Candidate" may not win, but the winner is "Your President".  Let's get out vote, and pray for the country.
